Parents are overprotective about kids going to school on their bikes because of ignorant people like Tony Kornheiser.

Someone should run Tony Kornheiser’s daughter down, if she really does ride a bike. Kornheiser would then be eating crow for the rest of his life.

Sadly, people listen to such rants. Then they act on those rants. It is ESPN’s responsibility to disavow Tony’s comments as strongly as possible. At a minimum, this means firing him, as well as the associates who were supporting these unspeakably ugly and dangerous comments. ESPN needs to do everything possible to distance itself from Tony K. And maybe Tony will take Lance’s suggestion to try riding a bike. Who knows, he might discover the joys of riding, and try cycling to his next job!

Tony,
If you ever touch a cyclist on the road, I will see to it that, whatever justice served you by the state, that a fistful of bike tools will be inserted into your skull at the hands of people without cars who have been assaulted by the likes of you.
The worst part is, God knows how many people actually listen to what you’re saying.

What a legend! Wins the Tour de France and also speaks up for regular cyclists. What a cool spokesman.

at 8:50 Lance makes a valid point where every athlete dresses for their sport. and what does the douchebag tony do? Makes a stupid joke and cuts off the guy he’s “apologizing” to. Go to hell Kornheiser. Everyone knows you’re an asshole and ESPN is too greedy to drop your sorry ass

this was not a sincere apology. he goes from saying i’m sorry to lance, to placing blame on cyclists for not abiding to the same laws as motorists in the same breath. he apologized to lance, not me or the millions of other cyclists around the world for telling crazy people to run us over. if one person gets run over by some lunatic because tony kornhole said to do it, i hope he gets he and espn get hit with a lawsuit.

Lance keeps his cool as always.
It’s very unfortunate that Lance has to tell Tony how to behave and that he should watch what he is saying. It should be a common sense especially to someone who people listen to.
Never listened to Tony and never will.

I can tell you why non-cycling motorist hate cyclist. They feel convicted of their on lazziness and instead of getting mad at themself for the lazy pricks that they are, they take it out on us.

Armstrong shows class all the way, he should have made Kornheiser own his comment.

All i heard is “Don’t fire me” from Kornheiser.

Good for Lance for accepting his appology, I don’t accept it I want him run down and off the air. Its scary enough out there without this guy telling them to run us down. Get a grip Kornheiser

Did I hear that right? He ranted about running cyclist down and now he’s saying his daughter bikes to work. I don’t even want an apology from this sick twisted old fart no more.

Kornheiser, I have enjoyed you fro many years on PTI, but you are done dude. First you objectify and demean a woman and now this. You should retire while you still have dignity. you should contribute money to cycling advocacy groups, your half ass apology was weak dude. You are the Ass clown of the month, congratulations.

thanks so much for posting this! I didn’t find out about the show until after it had happened and it’s great you got this up so quickly.

It’s great that Lance cares about regular everyday cyclists enough to stand up for us against ranting radio show hosts.
